This week, I've been finishing up the Callaway Colored Civil War Soldiers' display boards with fellow Intern Aurora. She's been doing the visual layout and art on the boards, and I have really enjoyed working with her! It's been so fun getting to see the project take physical form, and I hope everyone enjoys seeing it at the the Triple L on Saturday! 

On Wednesday we were able to go and clean some more objects, and Haley was able to show us some items that had active mold! We mostly focused on big furniture, like a tall L shaped desk and chairs, but we also cleaned up a mailbox! One of the big challenges while cleaning is the humidity and heat, it felt like a sauna that day! I enjoy getting to clean, despite that. I get to see so many different pieces of history, and I get to help us work on getting back to our museum eventually!
