We are on the final boxes of items to clean that came from the Museum! One of the parts of cleaning all the items is that if they needed to be cleaned, they would have a pink piece of tape attached. A habit I got into was that I would stick the sticker of whatever I was cleaning to my apron as a tracker for how much I had gotten done that day/week, and it was really fun to see my collection grow! Most of the big furniture is done, Ashley and I cleaned a couch that had a lot of active mold and got to use the archival soap. We are onto smaller objects now, like candle holders and milk bottles!

We also prepared for the Baseball Triple L that was hosted at the Carver School Apartments! We had three displays created, of which one was about William Van Buren, who I mentioned in my previous post, and Bake Mcbride, both baseball players from Callaway! The event itself was very fun, Don Soph had a great presentation and I helped out by talking a little about the Van Burens! We also had Carolyn Branch's book signing event afterwards, I helped by taking some photos! The next big event to get ready for is the Cowboy Church 'Old West Day', and I just really enjoy getting to help out at these events because I get to interact with so many people from all over Callaway, I get new information and insights all the time!
